John “Jack” Farrar, 67, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Parkview Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

He was born on November 24, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Richard and Hulda (Ulinder) Farrar.

On June 16, 1986, he was united in marriage with Bernice M. Dawson and she preceded him in death in October, 2011.

He was a grounds keeper of Ann Arbor Public Schools.

John was a member of Community of Christ Church where he served as a Deacon. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge, New Haven, Indiana.

He is survived by two sons, Troy (Colleen) Farrar of Detroit, Michigan, Christopher Farrar of Uma, Arizona, a brother James Farrar of Milan, Michigan. He was loved by his nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for John will be Sunday at 2:00 to Community of Christ Church, 3223 Hobson Rd., Ft. Wayne, Indiana, 46805.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Farrar family.
